Help us celebrate one year of The Richardson Mews being open.

Come and experience the Care and Services offered by us at our Open Day.

Psychology Provision

Each home has Clinical Psychology provision*, led by Independent Consultant Clinical Psychologists
(C. Psychol) and supported by an Assistant Psychologist. Their roles include:


Assessment


• Repeated Standardised Assessments, including emotional state and adaptive behaviour.
• Specialist Assessments as required, including cognitive and neuropsychological analysis
• Functional analysis of behaviour
• Risk
• Mental Capacity

• Cognitive remediation and cognitive rehabilitation approaches
• Behaviour modification
• Mood/ emotional work
• Healthy living
• Self-esteem
• Relationships
• Risk Reduction
• Enhancing Understanding
• Group work


Staff Consult, Training and Supervision


• Supervision of Assistant Psychologist in supported delivery of assessment and treatment packages.
• Consult with Service management to aid service development
• Training days for staff as part of RPC training programme
* Each home has an agreed number of monthly hours for this provision.
