Holiday Time!
June has been another busy month for The Richardson Partnership for Care. The service users from 2&8 enjoyed a day trip to the Isle of Wight where one of the service users enjoyed a day spent with his family, while everyone else toured the Island visiting Shanklin and Sandowns pleasure beaches. The other homes have also enjoyed many day trips out in the sun and many in house activities!
The Rock Club also held a quiz night this month where the service users enjoyed answering a range of questions from television programmes to geography, all to try and gain the top prize! On the night service users also enjoyed drinks and hotdogs!
Summer is finally here!
As the hot weather is finally here all of our service users have been enjoying BBQs, trips to Abington Park to listen to the live music and also many outdoor and indoor activities within the homes!
Some of our service users from 2&8 have also enjoyed day trips to both Somerset and Great Yarmouth, where they strolled along the beaches and wondered around many of the shops, a great day was had by all!
With our next Rock Club event coming up in June, we have been organising and arranging questions for a quiz, where the service users will join together to try and be the team to win the top prize!
Easter
The month of April has been another great month for The Richardson Partnership for Care. Three service users from 144 enjoyed a trip to London sight seeing and visiting relatives, while other service users enjoyed themed nights, cake making and easter egg hunts.
The Rock Club also held another event, where service users joined together and enjoyed a game of bowling! This was another great success!
Rock Club
The Rock Club held its winter event at the end of February with both music and refreshments. The theme for this event was to ‘wear a hat’, where service users not only enjoyed wearing their favourite hats, but some went as far as to create their own.
A BIG WELL DONE!
Another great month for The Richardson Partnership for Care with both Lee and Jessie gaining their NVQs. Jessie was also awarded STAR CANDIDATE following a reccomendation from external verifiers. So a big well done to these two!

Holidays
Following the terrible weather recently it is understandable that service users and staff alike are looking forward to better weather and more importantly where they would like to go on holiday. Brochures for different holiday destinations for 2010 are now being circulated. Service users are in the process of looking at where they would to visit and which peers/staff they would like to go with.
