We would like to thank you and the staff for the work and support you have given *Alice and our family. We had a hospital appointment with *Alice on Friday about her back and the doctor was very pleased with the improvements she has made, we have to thank you all for the hard work in making *Alice walk and sit upright this has improved her posture.
We are very happy with the service and level of care that *Alice receives, it has been a very difficult process for us as a family to adjust to but the staff and knowing that *Alice is so happy has made our decision the right one.

When our son first entered the home almost three years ago, he was very difficult to control, becoming combative and aggressive. He would strip, urinate and defecate at will. Over the past two years he has calmed down considerably and can now be trusted to be out in public. We attribute this progress to his care and personal attention that he has received from staff. They have always taken a sincere interest in him and have retained their professionalism, even when being the recipients of his negative behavior. He has grown particularly fond of some male staff members, respecting their authority, without being resentful. He has thankfully come to regard it as his home. He seems relaxed in his own environment and doesn’t ask to stay any longer than three or four hours with us.
He is always clean and well dressed. He has a good diet and has lost excess weight. His room is well furnished, always clean and tidy. He participates in social and leisure activities willingly, thanks to encouragement and support from staff members.
We are very pleased with the Richardson Partnership and the quality of care provided to our son.
We hope that he can continue to reside there indefinitely.

I am writing to thank you all for your help, support and concern for *Steve, and for Margaret and myself, during *Steve's recent illness. Without this support, I am sure that we would not have had *Steve treated so quickly nor so well looked after.
*Service user's names have been changed for confidentiality.
