Multi-Disciplinary and Management Team
The individual service user is at the very heart of our rehabilitation and care provision, receiving a tailored and flexible care plan developed by our multi-disciplinary team (MDT). The MDT meets regularly to review each individual’s well-being and to revise the care plan if required. The MDT includes a Consultant Clinical Psychiatrist, Consultant Clinical Psychologist, Assistant Psychologists, a specialist Neurological Physiotherapist and specialist neuro Speech & Language and Occupational Therapists. They are supported by a dedicated and experienced management team, who are part of the MDT.
Our activity support workers are trained to carry on the work of the therapy team, providing valuable stability and continuity in our service users’ everyday lives. We also provide a range of in-house activities which contribute to service users’ personal development, self-esteem and well-being. These range from arts and crafts, ASDAN-accredited life skills, music and bowling.
When possible we recruit experienced care staff and we have an excellent record of retaining staff. Our care support staff average over 10 years experience and our Managers average 30 years experience.
Even our maintenance team and cleaning staff are directly employed. They complete all staff training so that they are not only capable in their particular role, but can operate in our specialised environment, dealing calmly and professionally with service users to avoid causing any additional stress.
