You can count on the Richardson Partnership for Care when the pressure starts to mount.
At times when individuals are under additional stress or their circumstances become disrupted, placements for people with learning difficulties or an acquired brain injury may break down, so they need an emergency referral. This may be because they are living with their families or in a care home that’s not equipped to deal with high levels of challenging behaviour.
At The Richardson Partnership for Care we’re experienced in dealing with emergency referrals and manage them thoroughly, professionally and very quickly to ensure the smoothest possible transition for the service user.
We have a dedicated telephone number for emergency referrals that are out of office hours: 07850 772634 and our experienced team can assess the service user and make a decision within 24 hours. We are committed to helping people in need, and we're skilled in looking after people with challenging behaviour.
As well as completing all the clinical assessments and putting together a care plan for the service user, there are the practical aspects to consider. Our full-time maintenance team is employed directly by RPC and on hand to make any changes necessary to ensure that the room is fully equipped and comfortable for the service user, meeting their specific individual needs.
